The Story

The detective investigates his own murder

Inspired by the iconic characters of Arthur Conan Doyle, ‘Who Killed Sherlock Holmes?’ presents an original story that reinvents the fate of the legendary detective in a gripping mystery full of intrigue, humor, and unexpected twists.

In Victorian London, a mysterious host sends invitations to strangers. Each note reads: “You have been discovered. Come tonight to my mansion on Tennison Road if you want to save yourself.” At the appointed time, Dr. Watson, Irene Adler, Professor Moriarty, and the mysterious Mrs. Roberts gather at the mansion without knowing each other.

The host delivers unexpected news: Sherlock Holmes is going to be murdered… by one of them. The detective will arrive to face the most difficult case of his career and the unsettling presence of Irene, the only person who ever managed to outsmart him. Sometimes, the most dangerous thing is discovering the truth.

The Soundtrack

A mystery to the rhythm of Broadway

This original production combines suspense, emotion, and a vibrant swing reminiscent of pure Broadway. Premiering on December 2, 2020, at the EDP Gran Vía Theater in Madrid in the midst of the pandemic, the musical became a cultural phenomenon as the first show to bring life back to Madrid’s Gran Vía.

Iván Macías’ score creates a frenetic pace that enhances the immersive experience of the story, combining high-level numbers with moments for each character to shine, all accompanied by a live pianist.

It is so English.
